LIVE BIG

This September 2009, we are embarking on a new journey at Mt. Zion! We are inviting everyone ages 3 through 5th grade to join us as we discover how to Live B.I.G.! Beginning Sunday morning, September 6th at 9:00 am, we will be singing and playing and having a great time learning how to hear, see and live out our Belief in God. Join us every Sunday morning as we learn that God is a great BIG God, that He loves us with a great BIG love, and that we are all a part of God’s great BIG world! Willing Workers, Ever Faithful, and other adults

This class is held in Fellowship Hall for those adults who want to be part of a series of studies using Biblical quarterly guidelines. This class is led by different teachers who take turn in a rotation. While most who attend would consider this a lecture class, discussion does take place but attendees are not required to voice their opinions. The first 15 minutes of this class includes some singing, prayer time, and some announcements.

Seeds of Faith

Discussion class using everyday life as the basis of meeting together. Primary leader is Ken Kammeier with others assisting on Sundays that Ken is not available. Sessions are held in a classroom on the lower level below Fellowship Hall.

New Horizons

The New Horizons Sunday School class, (which meets in the classroom on the right at the bottom of the stairs), will begin a new study on "Exodus" in September 2011. The first gathering will be an informal discussion on the plans for the study on September 11th. The first lesson will be held on September 18th. All are welcome to join. New Spirits

Discussion class which use booklets by today's Biblical scholars writing about life situations. The Bible is used as a reference to feret out Biblical viewpoints.

Bible Discovery Class

An adult class usually led by Pastor Watkins which involves lecture and discussion about the Bible and how it has been created and has gotten to its present form. Sessions are held in the choir room behind the alter area of the sanctuary.
