The Rev. David A. Watkins

Pastor David was appointed to the Mount Zion congregation by Bishop Neil Irons on July 1, 1999.

David received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University of PA in 1975 in Speech Pathology and Audiology. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Boston University of Theology in 1986. David received Deacon's Orders in 1984 and Elder's Orders in 1988 while serving in the New Hampshire Annual Conference. He has been a member of the Central Pennsylvania Conference since 1988.

David has been in ministry for nineteen years and served two parishes in New Hampshire: St. Mathews UMC, Sandown and the Epping Community Church, Epping, and three parishes in Central PA: Big Pond Charge, Calvary UMC - Lawrenceville and is currently at Mt. Zion UMC.
