Small Groups are a place people pray for each other, support each other, and grow in faith together.
We have a variety of small groups that meet throughout the month.
Food and Faith Groups
Food and Faith Groups are great a way to become acquainted with the Mt. Zion community. Food and Faith groups meet once a month in a local restaurant for fellowship and encouragement. After three months, Food and Faith groups disband and are re-organized to meet again for another three months.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
This group gathers on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am in the Social Hall over coffee. Lively discussion, and prayer are all part of an hour focused on a passage from the Letter to the Philippians.
Tuesday Evening Prayer and Praise
This group gathers in in the church sanctuary at 7:30 pm on Tuesdays. After a period of praise and intercessory prayer, the group engages in the study of the Bible. The current study is focusing on Tom Berlin's Study: Six Things We Should Know About God.
Men's Bible Study
The Men's Bible Study meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month in the Social Hall at 8:00 am. Coffee and good fellowship are always readily available. The men are beginning a new study titled: Proverbs: Learning to Live Wisely
Two groups focused on growing women in faith meet each month:
- Women of Faith - meets on Monday nights at 7:00 pm for prayer and study.
United Methodist Women - Meets as announced.
