Small Groups are a place people pray for each other, support each other, and grow in faith together.

We have a variety of small groups that meet throughout the month.

Food and Faith Groups

Food and Faith Groups are great a way to become acquainted with the Mt. Zion community. Food and Faith groups meet once a month in a local restaurant for fellowship and encouragement. After three months, Food and Faith groups disband and are re-organized to meet again for another three months.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

This group gathers on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 am in the Social Hall over coffee. Lively discussion, and prayer are all part of an hour focused on a passage from the Bible The Tuesday morning group finished their current study, The Letter to the Ephesians, on May 29, and will resume meeting later this summer.

Tuesday Evening Prayer and Praise

This group gathers in in the church sanctuary at 7:30 pm on Tuesdays. After a period of praise and intercessory prayer, the group engages in the study of the Bible. The current study is The Letter to the Ephesians.

Men's Bible Study

The Men's Bible Study meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month in the Social Hall at 8:00 am. Coffee and good fellowship are always readily available. The men will finish their current study, Proverbs: Learning to Live Wisely, on May 12, and will resume meeting later in this summer.

Two groups focused on growing women in faith meet each month:

  • Women of Faith - meets on Monday nights at 7:00 pm for prayer and study. 
  • United Methodist Women - Meets as announced.
